Power to Stop gives Freedom to Speed
A Westinghouse Brake and Signal Company advert from September 1959. It features an image of one of the Metro-Cammell diesel Pullman trains for the Western Region which were fitted with Westinghouse two-stage electro-pneumatic high speed brakes. This system automatically provided increased braking pressures at high speeds.
