Co-operating in British Railways Modernisation
An August 1961 advert from the Westinghouse Brake and Signal Company showing the diversity of their products. The first section was Signals with the control desk at Broxbourne on the Bethnal Gree-Bishops Stortford line; the Brakes section shows E3001 (AL1 / Class 81) for which it supplied the brake equipment; the final section was Rectifiers with a Westinghouse silicon traction rectifier being shown, they had supplied these for the Liverpool Street/Clacton units.
