These wheels have a history
A Steel, Peech & Tozer advert from December 1961 - the company being a branch of The United Steel Companies Limited. The text notes that Steel, Peech & Tozer supplied wheels, tyres and axles (pictured) to Owen & Dyson Limited (another company associated with United Steel) who machined and assembled them in to complete sets for use on diesel railcars.
