There Are More Type 2 Brush Main Line Diesel Locomotives
This December 1958 advert proclaims that these Brush Type 2 diesel electric main line locomotives out-number any other make operating on British Railways, with 60 due to be in service before the end of 1959. The main illustrations shows three locomotives side-by-side, D5515, D5516 and D5518. Brush Traction Division / Brush Electrical Engineering was part of the Hawker Siddeley Group.
