Sulzer Diesel Engines for Rail Traction
A February 1959 advert from Sulzer Brothers Limited showing two different Type 2 diesel-electric locomotives fitted with their power units manufactured by Vickers-Armstrongs Limited. First is a BRC&W build (later known as a Class 26) which had Crompton Parkinson electrical equipment, the second is a British Railway build (later known as a Class 24) with British Thomson-Houston electrical equipment.
