Silentbloc Bearings for Flexibility and Control of Vibration
A Silentbloc Limited advert from July 1955 for their Flexible Bearings. These were fitted to locomotive 10201 - pictured - between the middle body portion and underframe to allow flexing when the engine generator was removed, the drawing shows how this was implemented.
