Rolls-Royce Oil Engines for Railcar Traction Applications
A Rolls-Royce advert from December 1954 promoting their engines for railcar use. The drawing shows a very European looking railcar. The two images show the vertical (CF6 NFL) and horizontal (CF6 NFLH) versions of the 6-cylinder engine, the latter would later be used in British Railways Class 110 and Class 111 DMUs.
