'MG3' in First British Gas-Turbine loco
A James Booth & Company advert from April 1952 noting the use of their MG3 aluminium alloy in 18100, built by Metropolitan Vickers for the Western Region. The loco had the driving cab (pictured), roof sections, interior linings, air ducting and many other details made from the material.
