Kaye's Automatic Wedge Locks
A Derby suburban triple DMU (later known as a Class 116) features in this April 1959 advert by Joseph Kaye & Sons Limited of Hunslet, Leeds. It notes that their Kaye's automatic wedge locks have been in use on British Railways for over 60 years and they were currently being fitted to the doors of Diesel Inter-City and suburban Railcars.
