 Advert Titled For L.T.E. Piccadilly Line

A Hoffman Manufacturing Company advert from January 1958 for their parallel roller bearing axleboxes which were used on all three of the prototype Piccadilly Line trains cushioned in Metalastik mountings. The main image shows the Metropolitan-Cammell prototype, the other two were built by GRC&W and BRC&W. The bogies on each also had the traction motors mounted on Hoffmann Roller Bearing Suspension Units.
