For Canada's first Underground cars - 'Formica'
A 1954 Thomas De La Rue & Company advert for their Formica laminated plastic panels. It shows thier use in subway cars for Toronto built by Gloucester Railway Carriage & Wagon. Note the lamps - the same type used in many British DMUs with the silver rings on the shades.
