A 1958 advert from Crossley Brothers Limited. First is an image of one of 48 diesels built by Metropolitan-Vickers for the Western Australian Government Railways, fitted with Crossley diesel engines. Second is an image of one of 94 locos - also built by Metropolitan-Vickers with Crossley power units - for Eire. The last image shows a Crossley HSTVee eight cylinder engine rated at 1,200hp, these would be supplied to Metropolitan-Vickers for the 20 Co-Bo locos it would built for British Railways (the Class 28s).
