This is one of series of similar half page adverts placed by Beckett, Laycock & Watkinson Limited for their Beclawat products, each featuring different types of traction. This May 1959 version features an underground train for the London Transport Executive, the three seven-car tube trains being completed by three builders: Metropolitan-Cammell Carriage & Wagon; Birmingham Railway Carriage & Wagon; and Gloucester Railway Carriage & Wagon. For these they supplied the Beclatite glazed fixed windows for the bodysides, Beclawat full stop Railok windows for the driver's cab, and Beclawat full drop Solano windows for end doors.
