These Type 1 800hp locomotives - later becoming Class 15s - are better known as BTH (British Thomson-Houston) locos rather than AEI (Associated Electrical Industries). In 1928 BTH had amalgamated with Metropolitan-Vickers to form AEI, but continued to trade under the two known brands until 1960. The locos had begun to be delivered in 1957 under BTH, the 44 vehicles comprised four different orders the last of which was under AEI in 1961. The advert dates from February 1962, the photos show two of the locos on a goods train with D8202 closest. It notes that there are other orders for Type 2 diesel electrics and 25kV electric locos.
