A New Division for Diesel Trains
A December 1953 advert from British Traction Limited announcing a new division for the design, development and marketing of diesel trains. The company, a joint venture between AEC and Leyland, had been producing vehicles such as trolleybuses before this advert. The image shows an LMS articulated four-car railcar from 1948.
