11000... Strong
The surprising thing reading this double page advert from 1954 is that was not a total of 11,000 of these 16-ton all-steel mineral wagons that the Pressed Steel Company Limited were building for British Railways, but 11,000 annually! Construction was at their railway division 30-acre plant at Linwood outside Paisley.
